One of my favourite places that I just can not help returning to. The aim of this painting is to express the multitude of colour that envelopes this high octane, nature charged bit of the West Coast of Cornwall. With the Gurnards Head behind me this is looking north, showing the great tall outcrops of granite. Formed by unimaginable pressure, now the home to a multitude of sea and bird life… a tough existence. Battered by a multitude of seas but in this case heaving and powerful. I love the danger, the rawness, the noise and yet this holistic calm reigns over this place. I am happy to see this painting as a reminder that this place continues to rotate in its permanence. As I write this I am tapping into those painting experiences, it’s wonderfully real. In the fore ground, the only reminder of human intervention. A great hole sculpted by the Cornish Tin miners. 100 metres deep and then out to sea, under the sea in a westerly direction. Its presence adds a reminder to our constant will to tap into natures resources.

We use Genesis Imaging based in Fulham, London, arguably the leader in printing excellence. These paintings are photographed to exceptionally high resolution in order to provide jaw dropping realism to the original. “Is that a print” ?! Is often a point of discussion as we are now seeing even the modelling of an impasto brushstroke being extremely clear.
Packaging
All items are carefully packaged using sturdy, protective materials – typically rolled in heavy-duty tubes, depending on the item size and type. We take great care to ensure everything arrives in perfect condition.
